A magical run and finish by Flynn O’Brien gave Riverstown all three points in their premier league game with Everton.

It was no more than the home team deserved after falling behind to their visitors in the 29th minute courtesy of a 30 yard lob.

Riverstown were a different side in the second half with Cillian O’McCarthy’s through ball finding Alex O’Mahony who was brought down in the penalty area before picking himself up to fire home the resultant penalty.

Then came the winner courtesy of O’Brien who beat two defenders and struck the ball low into the bottom corner to clinch all three points.

Best for Riverstown were Cormaic O’Sullivan and Adam Horan.
